New Eyes: Selections from the Fullerton College Art Collections

The great painter and educator, Wayne Thiebaud, often remarked that the study of art could ultimately result in acquiring “new eyes”—to see more and differently than one had before. Thiebaud was Fullerton College’s first Artist in Residence, in 1971, and as part of that visit he donated one of his paintings, “Penny Machines”, 1964, to the college’s permanent collection.
