Art Gallery
The Art Department regularly produces exhibitions of art work by guest artists from around the world, our distinguished faculty, the finest examples of student art work, and selections from our exceptional permanent art collection. One special exhibition each year is dedicated to the work of our current Artist in Residence. The Art Gallery Director and Laboratory Technician supervise all student workers in this very busy gallery.
Digital Arts Lab
The Art Department prides itself on digital arts classrooms that utilize the latest technologies, software, and industry practices. Each Digital Arts and Advertising program classes include laboratory time in these current state of the art classrooms.
Sculpture Studio
The sculpture studio, which located on the east side of Wilshire Auditorium, is comprised of two classrooms and a large outdoor studio that explores many facets of three dimensional art, jewelry, stained glass, and sculpture. The outdoor studio includes a bronze pouring foundry.
Sculpture Garden
The sculpture garden is the home for several pieces by nationally and world reknown artists including Dimitri Hadzi, Jack Zajac, Daniel Miller, and Todd Frahm. A commemorative sculpture of Hal Sherbeck by Don Treadway is located on Hal Sherbeck Field on the north side of the campus.
Ceramics Studio
The Ceramics Studio explores both the fundamentals of ceramics and advanced industry methods and practices. A large outdoor area includes several kilns that allow students to experiment with materials, glazes, and firing and finishing techniques.
