Bio:
Hassaan is an award-winning graphic designer, photographer, entrepreneur, educator, and a proud alum of Fullerton College. He has been serving as an adjunct instructor with NOCCCD since 1998. He has also served as faculty at other state and private institutions throughout Southern California. He teaches Photoshop, Illustrator, Digital Photography, 2D Design, 2D Animation, Interactive Multimedia, and Web Design. In the past, he also served as a member of the advisory committee of Orange County Digital Media Center. Hassaan also works as an independent consultant from his home office. He thrives on the edge of the evolving digital media industry where the air is thin, but the opportunity for creativity is boundless.

Background:
Hassaan grew up in the heart of the city of Lahore, a historic cosmopolitan city in Pakistan with a rich cultural history in arts and design. In 1985 his professional journey started as a freelance graphic designer, which led to an establishment of a small art studio. He extensively experimented with design and printmaking techniques and started a successful brand of hand-printed greeting cards. In late 80’s he joined Interflow Communications as an intern to start his career in advertising industry. Interflow is a leading ad agency affiliated with the world-renowned Ogilvy & Mather.

After immigrating to the United States in 1990 he quickly realized the importance and potentials of Digital Art. Without reservations, he enrolled in the Art Computer Graphics program at Fullerton College. The education he received at FC opened new opportunities to work for companies that operated on the cutting edge of electronic media. During his career, Hassaan has worked on countless accounts including Pepsi, Nestle, Boeing, Delta, United, Air France, Acura, J.D. Powers, Proctor & Gamble, Disney, and Warner Bros. In the late 90s with two of his partners he started a small Web design and development company in the city of Brea.
